Page County Grown celebrates fourth season

Page County Grown began in February 2011 at the Luray-Page County Chamber of Commerce. In just three short years, we’ve earned a state-wide reputation for our innovative approach to agri-tourism and branding our local producers.
Page County leads the state, with 37% of the produce served in our schools coming from local producers!
Page County Grown supports local growers
and the local economy!
Our fourth annual Farm-to-Table Wine Dinner is Saturday, August 9 at the beautiful Mimslyn Inn! And our second annual Page County Grown Century Ride, presented by Page Valley Cycling is Saturday, October 11.
Page County Schools serve Page County food! Spending on locally-grown food rose from $2,000 in 2010 to $30,000 in 2013!
Page County Public Schools and Page County Grown served locally-raised and grown foods in May! Director of Food Services Diane Dovel coordinated this effort to educate students on the value of local food!
